Olive Garden's Alfredo Sauce
1 pint heavy cream
1 stick butter
2 tablespoons cream cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese - (to 3/4)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
In a saucepan combine butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese. Simmer this until all is melted, and mixed well. Add the Parmesan cheese and Garlic powder. Simmer this for 15 to 20 minutes on low. You may wish to season with a little salt and pepper. It has been made with half-and-half, but heavy cream is preferred.

Girl, you don't need a recipie for that! Everyone tells me I'm an excellent cook and you want to know what's easiest and less time consuming, on top of being really good? Here's what you do.... go to the grocery store and buy some alfredo sauce( I think the best is called Bertollis?). Anyways, get some feducchini noodles and boil them for about 6 minutes( until they're almost done). Mix that with the sauce and a little garlic, and throw it in a small casserole. Sprinkle on some parmesean cheese generously over the top, and throw it in the oven until its bubbly and very light golden on the top. Approx 10-15 min @ 350. You should check it often though. Good Luck

"I experimented with this until I found a quick, cheap, and easy Alfredo sauce combination -- the secret is cream cheese!"

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup butter
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 cups milk
6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
Melt butter in a medium, non-stick saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic powder, stirring with wire whisk until smooth. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps. Stir in Parmesan and pepper. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency. Sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with milk if cooked too long. Toss with hot pasta to serve.

Yummy Alfredo Sauce

1-1/4 cups fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
4 tsp. flour
1/3 cup PHILADELPHIA Light Cream Cheese Spread
3 Tbsp. KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp. pepper
Garlic powder to taste (optional)

Combine broth and flour in medium saucepan. Stir in cream cheese spread, 2 Tbsp. of the Parmesan cheese, the nutmeg and pepper; cook 2 min., stirring constantly with wire whisk until mixture boils and thickens.

This recipe is for a light sauce. If you want something heartier, use full fat ingredients. Enjoy!
