Instead of just posting one recipe, let me give you the address to a website that is an excellent reference. Not only does it give you many different versions and varieties of recipes, it also rates them and posts the nutritional value of each recipe per serving.

http://www.recipezaar.com/recipes.php?q=Pretzel%20Salad

This is the page for a bunch of different recipes for pretzel salad. There is even a chocolate and strawberry kind.

Here is another recipe that has different recipes, but also different variations of this salad. It also has an easy fresh fruit salad, even an orange sherbert salad.

And here is another version from the same site.

And just on an off note, here is a really convenient one, literally short and sweet!

Title: PRETZEL CREAM SALAD Categories: Jello

3/4 c Melted butter
1 Envelope Dream Whip or 2 c Prepared whipped topping
8 oz Cream cheese, softened
2 c Canned pineapple juice
6 oz Powdered strawberry gelatin
20 oz Frozen strawberries
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix first three ingredients and spread into a 13-by-9-inch baking pan. Bake in preheated oven 10 minutes. Prepare whipped topping (if Dream whip is used) as directed on package. Add cheese and sugar. Spread over cooked mixture. Bring pineapple juice to boil, remove from heat and stir in gelatin to dissolve. Add berries, stirring vigorously with fork until separated. Refrigerate. When gelatin begins to set, spread it evenly over cheese mixture. Refrigerate several hours until completely set. ( from the The Cincinnati Enquirer, February 21, 1996)
