Has anyone heard about what happened in Athens before the Olympics? (In case you haven't, the people there poisoned all the street cats and dogs to "clean up" before the olympics came). Does anyone know if this is happening in China before the olympics in Beijing?

It's a dark colored tea (brown or black) that is very aromatic with a very nice flavor. I remember being served this kind of tea in Chinese restaurants about 20 years ago. Now when I go to most Chinese restaurants and ask for hot tea, they just serve the regular old kind of tea - it's very disappointing. I'd like to buy some of the kind that they used to serve before. Anyone know what it is?

My mom once bought some of it from our favorite Chinese restaurant 20 years back, and she said it didn't look like normal tea leaves. It was wirey black stuff.

I bought some cool whip for Thanksgiving, but very used it. So, I put it in my freezer. Now, I'm making a dessert and I need to thaw the cool whip.

Could I put it in the mircrowave, or will that make it funny?

How can I thaw the cool whip, fast?

I lost contact with her, so no luck in asking for it. I have been looking online, but I am having a hrad time finding it. It was a hot fudge sauce used over ice cream, and I think she had found the recipe off the back of a can or something. I know it had carmels (the ones individually wrapped), peanut butter, chocolate and I think evaporated milk as one of the ingredients. Any help would be extremely appreciated!

Has anyone noticed how prices for everything are rising faster than ever? I know they usually rise steadily anyway, but they seem to be rising more than ever...especially food prices. What`s going on?

I have lots of bread flour and would rather use that up - its also below zero outside, I'd have to run to the store for all purpose flour if they can't be substituted. Is there something I can add to the bread flour to make it suitable if its not?

I'm having a bachelor party and was fortunate in getting Rosie ODonnell to agree to jump out of a cake.
Can someone recommend how many boxes of cake mix I will need and do you think $600 will cover the cake mix?

Here in Oklahoma a dozen eggs went from about 89 cents to $2.20. That is up about 250% in three weeks... maybe four.

What is the price in your hometown? Just name the state as I understand some people are still buying eggs less than a dollar still, while others have been paying double the prices since the summer.

Due to lack of news on the situation I find it surprising no one really knows what happened. We hear weather, but "most" of the country does not have bad weather. We hear that corn (typically fed to chickens) is now used for ethanol, but I don't buy that for a second since canned corn is selling for less that it was last year. Then we hear the bird flu and we are exporting eggs. I don't buy that either as it takes a little more than two or three weeks to funnel all those eggs immediately to other markets.

I think if a Toyota Camry went from $20,000 to $50,000 we would have heard about it and a very good reason why it happened.

Like ... something I can prepare the night before I have to serve them. Preferably I'd be able to stick them in a fridge ... I need them to sell at a bake sale during lunch at school.

Any suggestions? Just something small that teens would like.
