whats wrong with seafoood as protein? I told my doctor that I dont' want to eat any white or red meat... she said that seafood is a great source of protein and beans and nuts are not enough.. what do you think?

I have very low alcohol tolerance. Even though I eat a lot before I go out with my co-workers, after i drink a few glasses of apple or lemon drop martini, i get drunk and my head starts to spin...i vomit after i get home and have trouble recovering the nexy day.

i was wondering is there an alcohol that is very light in general for a very low alcohol tolerant female and doesnt give her a headache or get her drunk easily????
(i don't drink more than 3-4 glasses of apple or lemon drop martini, but i still have a difficult time coping)

People have asked whether they should eat shrimp, especially when they are pregnant.

The answer is no, pregnant or not.

Understand this: most shrimp sold in the US comes from shrimp farms. which are fetid pools of water rife with shrimp excrement and loaded with antibiotics.

The environmental cost of these "farms" is enormous, but I leave it to you to research that.

I have not eaten any meat or fish [including gelatin and ramen noodles and any type of thing that MIGHT contain or have touched meat] since february 15 so about 9 months...i am thinking of taking a break for one day and just be pescetarian [eating fish but no other meat]...by making doing this, would it be seriously breaking the vow to be a vegetarian or to many do this every few months or so?

Ok, so i mixed maybe half a glass of peach schnapps with coke, and drank it, and then i stopped. for the rest of the night I've been feeling extremely dizzy and shaky??? its obviously not alcohol poisoning, i mean how can i get that from just half a glass. I'm 18 and like 110-115lbs. I don't even see how i could get drunk from that. Or is it possible?

i have been a vegetarian for 4 months now. And well I was hiding it from my carnivorous father. He finally found out tonight when i would not eat turkey he was dangling in front of my face. Now he thinks i am miss informed and following the trends. Which is bull. But in order for him to even THINK about supporting me, i have to write a stupid ESSAY/REPORT to support my decision. Where the hell do i start? Errrrrrh.


BTW i am 17 so its not like i am a 12 year old. i can make my own decisions.

Please help, but don't get me deleted. I have to make a cake tomorrow for a bachelor party and I don't have a mold and don't want to buy one. I was thinking of using a pyrex 1.5 quart bowl with tinfoil inserted to a "round" shape. I have no idea if the foil will hold up.

As far as decorating the "cake", I have to get frosting that isn't an alien color and make the tips stick out a little. Candy?

I know getting drunk off of wine is so nasty (the sickest i have ever been) but what about champaign? I had some champaign tonight and it tasted great. I want something new to try in terms of getting drunk besides vodka, rum, whiskey, and beer. Should i try champaign for awhile or will i regret it right away?

I am a little bit of a picky eater, and I'm getting sick of living off peanut butter, milk and cheese. I don't like tofu, or beans. I've never tried lentils, but I doubt I would like them (if they taste anything like onions, yuck) Please, I'm desperate for ideas. (The higher in protein, the better)

I'm supposed to have surgery sometime in the future, (about a year or so from now) and I was told by a family member that being a vegetarian could hinder surgery as it could affect my blood and thus the healing process. Does anyone know if this holds true?

It seems like it could be from the alcohol letting your inhibitions go, but why does smoking seem to be the biggest thing uninhibited?
