you know, i find that water tastes different wherever you go depending on other elements in the water (natural or added by man). i grew up in hawaii, where water is naturally filtered as it passes through layers of lava rock before reaching the underground reservoir (from where we get our drinking water). so i'm used to drinking relatively pure, clean, and flavorless water. but i've recently moved to arizona, and it took a while for me to get used to the water here...at first i wondered if it was even safe to drink, cuz it tasted moldy...but i've gotten used to it. oh and i heard that in some places they put floride in the water so that when people drink from the water-fountains they also drink that (which is good for their teeth, but i'm sure it must taste funny). but overall it depends on what's in the soil or in the pipes wherever you are. oh and if you drink from a plastic bottle or a container it will taste like plastic (which i hear is bad for your health because you are drinking the little particles of plastic, but i do it all the time just because it's convenient to do so).

Water is essentially tasteless, although tap water and some bottled water has minerals and stuff in it that can affect the taste making the water taste slightly metallic or bitter sometimes.

I guess it would depend on where you get your water from and what exactly is in it.
Water rich in minerals such as calcium may taste earthy while water that contains sodium, such as found in soft water, maybe be slightly bitter.
It just depends one your source of water but good water shouldn't really taste like anything other than water :)

Nothing! just liquid thats why it is great! I need to drink more because it helps you lose weight.
Where I live it is horrible and has lead in it...in a Hispanic and black city hmmmmm. In the Dr it tastes more pure, clean, yet it does have critters in it.

Clean water is odorless, colorless and is tasteless. However, water can be given any odor, color or taste by adding ingredients to it.
LOL, that sounds funny - "water is totally tasteless." As if it were tacky or something.
