Food & Drink - 9 January 2007

My husband is from Mexico, and would be thrilled if I knew how to make more authentic dishes. But he is a terrible cook, so I have to figure it out on my own. I would love ANYTHING (except mole), but I would especially like a taco recipe, a torta recipe, or a homemade flan recipe. Thanks in advance!

How do I take down a beer fast when I'm bonging it or shotgunning it? It seems to take forever and everyone somehow does it faster than I can. I am opening up my throat and taking huge gulps, but it doesn't seem to help (I end up burping really bad because of all the trapped air). Is there something I'm missing?

I am making a dinner for my husband and I have to use up the bratworst. All I have laying around that sounds like it would taste yummy is a couple cans of cream of mushroom soup and lots of pasta.
