Its kind of like a chain letter. My neighbor gave it to me last night. You get a container of dough and some directions along with it. If you follow them and then pass on the dough, you are supposed to get luck. I'm going to try it anyway. Did anyone ever do this?

I made this dish last week: http://www.barillaus.com/Thin_Spaghetti_with_Lemon_Pasta_with_Calamari.aspx

The consensus was that the noodles needed something, perhaps more of a sauce. What would be something complimentary to the calamari but still light? I don't like an overwhelming sauce. I'm thinking of just doing a white lemon sauce with some basil. Thoughts?

I am planning on cooking a spicy turkey chili for dinner and would like to also serve a nice dessert afterwards for my hubby since hes having a tough week at work. I was going to just make brownies but hoped someone could suggest something that went better with the chili.

So far, I know:

1 fresh herb = 1/2 dried herb

dry white wine = apple juice

tarragon = rosemary

chicken stock = veggie stock = beef stock

onion = shallots

(I'm using equal as an abbreviation; I know these things aren't exactly the same thing)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Coat an 8" springform pan with cooking spray. Dust with 1/2 teaspoon of the flour.

Place the chocolate in a microwaveable bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir until smooth. Add 3/4 cup of the granulated sugar, the butter or margarine, sour cream, egg yolk, and vanilla. Stir until well blended. Add the cocoa and the remaining 1 tablespoon flour. Stir until smooth.

In a large bowl, combine the egg whites and cream of tartar. With an electric mixer on medium speed, beat until soft peaks form. Beat on high speed, while gradually adding the remaining 1/4 cup granulated sugar, until stiff peaks form. Fold about one-third of the egg whites into the chocolate. Gently fold in the remaining egg white mixture in 2 additions. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top...
