I have a can of tuna for lunch. What's a tasty way to make this exceptionally boring lunch a little less boring?

I'm supposing that you don't just have a single can of tuna in a lunch bag at work.... cause that would really suck!

Well it's really as simple as looking around your kitchen and seeing what's good.

I'd recommend making a gourmet tuna fish sandwich. Start off with your ordinary can of tuna (remove all liquid), and mix with some mayonaiise and maybe some dijon as well. Chop up celery or fennel and dump that in as well for some crunch. Put this mixture on top of a baguette or nice brioche and top with some lettuce or fisse tossed in a dijon/olive oil/S&P vinegretee and add a nice slice of brie and melt the whole thing! It'll taste fantastic!

Here's hoping your can comes with some accessories.

One thing to do would be create curried tuna salad with it. Add some mayo (to taste), a bit of dijon mustard, celery, onions (finely minced), apple (finely diced), curry powder (to taste- a little goes a long ways) and salt and pepper to taste. I would recommend mixing it all together so you can alter the taste of it before adding the tuna. For only 1 can, you will need only approx: 2 tsp mayo, 1 tsp dijon, 1 rib of celery, 1/4 small onion, 1/4 small apple, 1 tsp. curry and salt and pepper to taste. If you are making a sandwich with it, if you spread some chutney on the bread before adding this tuna salad it is delicious.

Tuna mixed with mayo, chopped green olives and celery is good. You can add a little salt and pepper and lemon juice if you want. I like mine on rye bread.

1) a little mayo, some dill weed, green onions
2) mayo, sweet pickles, white onion
slap 1 & 2 on bread and eat like a sandwich
3) lemon pepper (or lime pepper) and some oil and vingar - this one is best on crackers or on iceburg lettuce
