Adults are often a little tough and lacking the full delicate flavor and it depends how many children there are. If (as is common) there are two or three, then this recipe should serve 30 or 40 people.
First remove the stiff, black outer coatings, white collars and bibles. These are bitter and only good to fuel the cooking fire.
Boil the adults in a pot well supplied with onions, garlic and root vegetables. One should first take out the brains of the woman and the testicles of the man. These may be roast gently and form excellent hors d'oevres or morsels to offer honoured guests.
The children should be spit roast or cooked wrapped in banana leaves in an earth oven of hot stones, as one does the tender suckling pig.
All should be served on a bed of rice mixed with the vegetables in which the adults were cooked.
This should be sufficient, as I say, for a feast for 30 or 40 people and could well last for a week.

This is my kids favorite thing I make.
Pizza Cassarole
2 boxes Mac & Cheese Mix (the kind with the powder)
1 can or jar (approx. 15-16 oz.) Pizza Sauce
1 (12 oz.) pkg Mozzarella Cheese-divided
1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 pkg (4 oz.) Pepperoni
and/or any of your additional favorite pizza toppings (good way to get your kids to eat veggies!)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Cook macaroni noodles until just underdone. I usually take 1-2 minutes off the recommended time on the package. Drain noodles and place in a 9"x13" baking pan. Add the powder from the mac & cheese mix, pizza sauce, 1/2 the mozzarella cheese, and all pizza toppings. Stir to blend.
Top with the grated parmesan cheese and the remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees f. for approx 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Easy bake in the oven: 1 mild onion sliced into thin wedges, bake in a pre-heated oven at 220 degrees for 15 mins with a tablespoon of olive oil; then add 8 sausages and 450g of new potatoes sliced into long thick wedges - reduce oven to 200 degrees and bake for 25-30 minutes; finally add half a punnet of cherry tomatoes or similar, sprinkle on some black pepper and bake for a final 10 minues; serve with baked beans and a crisp green salad

It's a Mediterranean dish:
Slice up some aubergines, red & green peppers, mushrooms, red onions, black olives, carrots and anything else you like, cook in olive oil and add a dash or herbs and pepper. Let it cook at a fairly high temperature for about 10-15 minutes. The vegetables should still be crisp, then add a tin of chopped tomatoes and cook slowly at a low temperature. You can add fish if you like - tuna and prawns are nice.

My favorite thing to make is reservations (at a restaurant). No, seriously though. Kids? Ages? I have 4 kids varying from 11-20. They all agree that they could eat my fried chicken and homemade mashed potatoes all week. It takes a little time, but it's their fave. My fave is a little simpler, I either do stir fry (with chicken, beef, or shrimp), or - okay I know this is going to sound weird because it is EXCLUSIVE to my town (yes town, the rest of the state doesn't do it). It's called a horseshoe. Basically 2 pieces of toasted bread place it on plate. Top that with any meat you want (from hamburger, ham, turkey, chicken, etc et c etc), On top of the meat place french fries, then smother it with melted cheese (we like to use Campbell's Cheddar Cheese soup, carefull add milk you don't want it too thin, then we add chopped onion, green pepper and red pepper, but that's a personal choice). If you want a 'ponyshoe' you just use one piece of toast and less meat/fries.

Dale Pie
1lb /400-450g minced beef/mutton/pork
one onion
half pint beef/lamb/pork stock
1 teaspoon Worcester sauce or soy sauce
8 ounces mixed vegetables (whatever you fancy, I use peppers, peas and cabbage)
Seasoning
8 ounces self raising flour
1 ounce cornflour
3 ounces suet (vegetable is best, much lighter, but beef okay)
half pint milk
seasoning
fry mince and onion until browned, add stock, worc or soy sauce, vegetables,
cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Mix all batter ingredients together to form a thick batter. Transfer meaty
stuff to an ovenproof dish and pour batter over.
Bake for about 40 minutes at 180°C until lightly browned.
Yummy comfort food, but not too often!!
Recipe passed down to me from my Nana who got it from her Nana.

this doesnt sound nice but it really is more so if ur on a tight budget here goes
2 tins of beans
2 tins of chopped toms
2 tins of sweetcorn
mushrooms
potatoes
onions
bacon
chicken stock
finely choponions bacon and mushrooms then gently fry off once done add to a large sauce pan
now chop and fry potatoes till cooked and add to saucepan then add beans, toms, sweetcorn and chicken stock and simmer for about half an houp serve with uncut bread and real butter.
truly delicous.

A delicious pork roast with mashed potatoes and fresh cooked spinach with bacon and onion. Yum Yum! For dessert, either cherry cheesecake or banana split cake.
When I was little, after Church every single Sunday, Mom would cook fried chicken, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob (when in season), or regular corn. There was no room for dessert, but in the late afternoons, she would usually make some homemade doughnuts. These were the best!!!
