My mom said that she was going to cook tomarow night for my birthday. And she told me to decide what I wanted. But I dont really have any favorite foods. I like Italian, Mexican, and Chinese. But that is about it. It can't be expensive or hard though.

So I roll my own cigarettes and I can't find any rolling paper at any stores. Does anyone know of some paper that you can use for rolling paper that is around the house and that can stay lit because every paper I try does not stay lit and goes out after about 20 seconds or something like that.

I have fried a 16 lb. turkey in a deep fryer using peanut oil. Do I have to throw out all of the oil after one use, or can i strain it or something, so that I can reuse it another time. Also, how long is the used oil good for before it needs to be thrown out?

There's a puddy-like coating around brie cheese, and I need to know what it is and if you can eat it or not. Does it taste good? Are you supposed to serve it with the white stuff still on it? How do you get it off?

one that sound like a plate-licker to me!!! Isn't it funny how when you are an experienced cook, you can look at a recipe and almost, but not quite, taste it???

I love to cook, but I'm getting tired of making casseroles, fairly plain chicken dishes, and burgers/steaks for my family. I'm interested in a yummy new recipe that can be made with most of the ingredients you find in your average household. Seafood, poultry, beef, and international recipes all welcome!!! Thank you! :)

I have heard that adding a peeled raw potato to homemade chicken stock absorbs some of the fat, or is it salt? Does this work as a faster method than chilling the stock and removing fat from the top? I do not need to remove all of the fat, but there is quite a bit of it! Thanks for your input!
