People always seem to make some sort of connection between anemia and veganism. Someone here had posted a question about being dizzy frequently, and somebody suggested that she might be anemic. I do have frequent dizzy spells that last a minute or so. Plus, I've been really cold lately, and I've been somewhat depressed.

Would this be anemia?

If so, what can I do to prevent it or treat it?

--Also, I've been a vegetarian for a year, and I'm in the process of going vegan.

I am turning 21, but I have been drinking for a while now. I want to get something a little special for my birthday. Something maybe a little exotic, but easily accessible. I also want something ihaven't had before. I have had all of the standard liquors, and most of the standard liquers.

Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

The local grocery store had a display on center isle at room temperature loaded with 2 lbs blocks of cheese. I pointed out( trying to be helpfulf) that that was probably not safe and they told me they do it all the time.

I don't have any in front of me or I'd start by reading the package. Just wondering... there are those cocktail weiners you can eat right out of the can, but can you eat an ordinary frank right out of the package? In other words, are they raw, pre-cooked, or partially pre-cooked?

Recipe contest: create a salad using pecans. Fruit is not allowed. This idea came about because I want a snack that will not cause my blood sugar and insulin levels to spike, and I want to eat a salad with pecans.

The best idea will win 10pts
fruit will win a thumbs down.
good luck.

It's that chocolate powder mix. Did you guys know it originally is from (my country) Switzerland? The funny thing is... there its orginal name is Ovalmaltine and I believe it tastes much better because it's made without sugar! As it turns out, it's only called Ovaltine now over here in the States (where I currently live) because there was a misspelling in the trademark registration process. Just a little FYI for you all.

Who's in the mood for cocoa?
