I alway buy the variety packs of Quaker Oatmeal, like brownsuger and apple, maple surp and brown suger etc. Well I always find one little black flake in each package. I started keeping an eye on these package to see If it was only a small oatmeal flake over cooked. But nope that black flake is in every package. What is this and why is it in the packages?

When you buy a veggie burger or veggie pizza, what is your impact on the meat industry? Does it decrease due to the competition from vegetarian fast food? Or does the increased profit (due to your purchase of fast food) help the company buy even more meat?

I don't live in America and it is difficult to find sour cream. When I do get it, I often don't use it all that quickly. I thought dairy products could not be frozen, but a friend of mine used to freeze milk and it was fine after thawing it out and using it again. Can I do the same with sour cream?
