Try pushing it in the bottle.

Try getting a stanley blade or some sort of long blade to go down the side of the neck in between the cork and the bottle and work it out gentley. If that doesnt work I could suggest a variety of things, depending whether or not you want to keep the quality of the Champagne.

If your not too fussed you could try using the corkscrew again and hope that it doesnt fall in. If you reeeeeeeeeeally wanted to get the Champagne out you COULD smash the bottle open, haha but they you couldn't drink it :P

Sorry about your little problem that you seem to have, it's a bugger when that happens!

Happy New Years!

How do you break a champagne cork? When you take off the foil and the wiring, you DON'T use a corkscrew. You hold the bottle at a 45 degree angle and hold the cork and spin the bottle.

Drive a screw into the cork and pull it out with pliers. Or you could shake the bottle, make sure your hand is over the cork.

Use an electric drill to drill through the remaining part of the cork and then pull.
