Hair of the dog. Drink whatever you drank first thing after waking up.

Things that have worked for me: drink plenty of water while drinking. Sometimes it's hard to just keep up, though, know what I mean? ;o) Another thing is to definitely pace yourself! Through experience you should be able to figure out how much you can drink before you get sick. Right before going to bed I take some Aspirin, that always has been a good preventative for me.
Something else, try to stay healthy! Work out all the time, your body will be able to handle the 'abuse' of drinking more. Plus you'll benefit from other aspects of it throughout your whole life.
The last thing is something called and Eat'n Park (or something). Find someplace that has a buffet breakfast 24/7 and pig out on bacon. For some reason greasy food really works well for me in 'curing' a hangover.
Above all, drink responsibly and have fun!

This is what I call the mc donald's cure.

You drag your hungover butt to mc donald's (or just sucker someone into getting it for you)

When you get there, purchase a double cheeseburger meal, with a coca cola. You eat the burger and fries, drink the soda.

Let it digest a little and lay down for a nap.(if u have time).

U will wake up feeling a whole lot better. It helps even if u get just a short 20 min. quickie nap.

Here is the catch though.
1. It has to be mc donald's, not any other place's burger.
2. U have to order a regular coca cola. I know people who work at mc donald's and they agree the regular coca cola is the key to the whole hangover but i still eat the food, i think it helps.
3. Order a large soda if u can.

Try it, (on monday morning lol) u won't believe the difference.

There is no "cure" for a hangover...it's not contagious or even a disease... it's a result of inexperience, influence or just poor judgement. It can be prevented however. Alchohol, especially beer, will increase urination & possibly perspiration, depending on temperature & activity. This tends to cause dehydration. Since most of us are at least slightly dehydrated as it is, the consumption of your prefered libation will only cause further dehydration....significantly so at that. Unless you reach a state of alchoholic pollution, where your blood alchohol content is rated by proof.... most of the wonderful sensations you wake up with can be associated to dehydration. The way to prevent many to most, if not all of these morning sensations is really quite simple... drink a lot of H2O.... before drinking anything alchoholic....way before... as in hours... or better yet.... a day or two. To insure success you need to drink water during party time too. Having some knowledge of & experience with alchohol & those who partake, I realize this is unlikely to occur.. most folks are not interested in a nice refreshing glass of water as it lacks any zing, bang or kick to further enhance the "buzz" or in medical terms, inTOXICation. With so many people (and lawyers) jumping on the trendy bandwagon these days by condemning, attacking, restricting, overtaxing, banning (and suing) things like cigarettes, hydrocarbons, oil and OMG...drugs....etc. it seems rather hypocritical for so many to consume so much....alchohol. Afterall, it is a drug... and it is toxic.... as such a hangover is a natural result and your body's way of saying... HEY...WTF! It should be expected. In reality that's asking a lot from some... perhaps too much... but I'll leave it at that rather than rile anymore sensitivities and simply say that when applied properly, the H2O hangover prevention method is effective. A couple other shots of hangover prevention information are; don't drink a little... or a lot... of everything... chose your celebration libation and make it exclusive, if your choice is liquor (she'll appreciate it too) go with something light or clear....amber or dark will intensify the morning sensation.... as will those sweet foo foo liquors with lots of sugar. Last but not least you could always find a toilet, nearby bush.... or dark corner somewhere.... and utilize the finger insertion method (Ralph) to evacuate the system immediately after ingestion occurs..... however that kinda defeats the purpose & intent doesn't it.

Yes! Before going to sleep after a nite of drinking, start drinking plain water and as much as possible. It will help dilute the alcohol in your system and minimize the chance of a headache or hangover. DO NOT take aspirin with the water. Aspirin will cause the alcolol to spread throughout your system quicker.

Well, drink a lot of water after you stop drinking the night before, during the night if you wake up, and when you get up in the morning.

Next, one word - 'grease'. Make yourself some bacon and eggs.

A little fruit is very helpful too - anything that is healthy will do wonders.

Take 2 ibruprofen as well - should clear up the headache. I also find that some cold or allergy medicine is quite helpful...

Drink at least 20 oz. of water before, during, and after drinking heavily. It seems to lessen the hangover effects for me.

I believe there exists a kind of gum called KGB, designed to prevent hangovers; you take a part before drinking, and another after you stop. Cheers!

You can prevent one by drinking 2 large glasses of water just before you go to bed. The alcohol dehydrates your body and its the lack of water in it that gives you the headache. Drinking the water helps replentish what your system needs. Asprin before you go to bed will not help and actually be of negative benefit.

Sure.
Pace yourself. Don't guzzle 3 drinks per hour. Try to maintain a 1 per hour pace.
Eat BEFORE you drink and snack while you drink.
DO drink water during the evening and before you sleep.
Have fun!
