My husband and I would like to try to make our own wine. I've heard it isn't as difficult of a process as we might think. Does anyone out there have any tips for us? We'd like to know what equipment is needed, etc.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

I want to buy my boss a good bottle of wine for Christmas, but I don't know the first thing about wine. He hasn't worked here long and I don't know him really well yet, so I don't know his preference when it comes to wine, but I do know he drinks it. Any suggestions? I don't want to buy him something cheap, but I can't afford to spend an arm and a leg, either. I was thinking maybe something in the $20 range. Is that acceptable when it comes to wine? Any suggestions as to what brand/type? I believe he drinks both red and white. Thanks!

I am looking to purchase a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law who is SERIOIUS about BBQ. He makes a lot of his own home made sauces and rubs but can anyone recommend any REALLY GOOD packaged rubs? There are many different brands out there in gift baskets on Amazon but I have no idea what is good. Please help!

We buy our Christmas candy through and employee group at work. Now I have opened a box and see the code on the bottom LAD 352. And another one with a code LAD 27. So I wrote to See's to give me an explanation. It took me 4 emails to get a little information. The LAD 352 has an expiration date of December 17 or this year and the LAD 27 has a expiration date of December also. I just wondered if anyone knows how these codes work. She said they were "julian codes" but when I checked the internet, that explaination didn't seem to jive with what I'm looking at.

My mom who is 80, lost her Oatmeal Candy Cane recipe. She believes she found it in the Chicago Tribune in the late 1950's or early 1960's. The recipe was an oatmeal cookie which you divided and colored and shaped into a candy cane.
