To make special brownies you have to first "decarboxolize" the "special spice".This is a big word for heating. When you burn "s.s." you are decarboxolizing the remaining amino acids in the leaf and turning non-psycoactive canabanoides into psycoactive ones. You can also mix the "s.s" with oil or butter to decarboxolize it. The best way is to take the amount of butter usualy used in the recipe and add "s.s" to it.First grind the "s.s" and then brown it lightly in a pan DO NOT BURN IT !! If it starts to smoke take it off the heat and out of the pan fast.Rapid decarboxolation will ruin the "s.s".After the "s.s" is browned add it to the softened butter DO NOT MELT THE BUTTER . Mix well and let it sit untill it has returned to a hard green butter like substance .It is then ready to use like normal butter.Make extra "green butter" if possible to use in other recipes as well. It's mighty tasty on toast or a good muffin ! This works well with all cookie , cake and pie recipies as well as brownies . If you are at all worried about the health risks , this IS the safest way to consume "s.s".It is just like using basil, oregano,or any other spice , and are they dangerous?Happy Baking (no pun intended)

8- 1 ounce squares of unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter
5 eggs
3 cups sugar
2 cups of poop or rat poison ( for that extra "special" kick you looking for...)
1 tablespoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2-1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts, toasted

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13 pan.

Enjoy your "special" brownies!

LOL add something that shouldn't normally be there in the regular brownie recipe. I am thinking you may watch television a lot because of the "special" brownie remark.
LOL but that stuff isn't healthy at all. I wouldn't use it in brownies.

That is so lame. You do realize that is one of the most dangerous ways to partake of "special" herbs? Grow up.
