Actually I had a friend who only made her spaghetti with tuna.
Make a sauce like you normally would adding the tuna like you would hamberger. Put it in a sauce pan
You could add some chopped peppers, onions and perhaps mushrooms. Add any spice you normally would ie garlic, oregano, etc.
Bring that to a simmer while your prepare the pasta.
After the pasta is ready add the sauce and place everything into a baking dish.
Sprinkle on top Parmesan cheese and bake for about 30 minutes to meld all the flavours. Enjoy.

You don't need the sauce; you can make a cold tuna & pasta salad . as for other ingredients you can add cooked and then cooled frozen peas, you can add artichoke hearts - peel the tough outer leaves , chopped green onions work
diced pimentos -the possibilities are endless
I would use either italian or caesar dressing
For the Pasta
follow directions on pasta box
stir pasta into boiling salted water
have a strainer or colander available and put in the sink under a faucet
Cook for 9 minutes and then check often[ like every 60 seconds] until al dente which means that there is still a bit of resistance when you bite into it- you don't want mushy pasta
using pot holders carefully pour into strainer /colander- watch out for the steam
turn on cold water and allow pasta to get cool.
put your drained pasta into a mixing bowl thats twice the volume of the pasta
add veggies stir from the bottom to incorporate
add enough dressing to coat the veggies and pasta-
add the tuna and gently incorporate w/o breaking the tuna into too many pieces
or you can put the pasta veggie mix on a plate and top w/ tuna
ideally you would use a chunk or solid white tuna for this

I agree with the others to leave out the tomato sauce. Cook your pasta, add tuna, and add like a 1/2 cup of miracle whip, and you have shredded cheese, that would also be good to add to eat...so it melts over the warm pasta. Or just do the tuna and the miracle whip, add some chopped up pickles...and make a tuna salad sandwich.

If it were me, I would cook the pasta per directions drain, drain tuna mix with pasta and a little mayo and throw in a can of drained sweet peas. I wouldn't use the tomato pasta sauce, but that's just me.

Tuna and tomato sauce doesn't taste very nice together!!
Do you have any mayo and/or tinned sweetcorn in the cupboard? If you do, drain the tuna and mix with mayo and sweetcorn. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet, then drain. Mix the tuna and pasta together and serve. You can either eat it on its own or serve it with a salad.

I would leave the tuna out of this one. Just boil the pasta until it's done, then drain and add the pasta sauce. You could also add some cheese and garlic salt for flavor. Good luck!

There is a recipe for "Tuna with Pasta and Tomato Sauce" at...
http://www.bbcgoodfood.com
You can substitute the bow-tie pasta with what you have.
(If you have trouble locating the recipe at the site, type: tuna and tomato sauce in Google, then look for the bbc link.)

Personally, I think tuna is better with a cream -type sauce like Alfredo. It also comes in a jar and you would simply cook the noodles and then drain them, add the alfredo and the tuna and mix well and then simmer until everything was warmed through, then serve with a salad.

Tuna and tomato pasta sauce sounds very gross. You could always go out and buy the tuna alfredo in the box. The stuff is already in the box and all you have to do is mix everything together and its ready to cook. Read the directions on the tuna alfredo box too, before you mix everything together.

You might try a creamy cheese sauce instead of tomato sauce. celery or mushroom soup is good on tuna and noodles. I like to add tiny peas to my recipe.
