How many days before you cook it can you leave it in the fridge if its a fresh turkey? I bought mine last sunday and we are cooking it early friday morning, is that ok?

I tried a 'hard' lemonade at a party last year, but don't remember what was in it (it was THAT good). haha.. anyway, I think it may have been Southern Comfort,,, anyone heard of that? I don't want the pre-mixed stuff, I want to make it myself.

I just bought my very first 12lb turkey today and its frozen, and it takes 3-5 days to thaw, but it's thanksgiving tomorrow and i have no clue what im going to do..its the first time ever for me to cook a turkey and im seriously panicking.
