Can anyone tell me how many cups of stuffing crumbs are equivalent to a slice of bread?

I am using Pepperidge Farm stuffing crumbs in place of 16 slices of crumbled bread, but not sure how many cups of the crumbs to use. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I'm not sure, but my best guess is 4 slices of bread to one cup of crumbs. If a slice of bread makes about 1/4 cup of bread crumbs, then it would take 4 slices to make 1 cup of crumbs. So the equivalent of 16 slices is 4 cups.

Doesn't it say on the box or bag what the equivalent is?
