Certain brands of peanut butter may contain a small amount (well under 1%) of hydrogenated vegetable oils, which are rich in trans fatty acids. Such fatty acids are thought to be a cause of atherosclerosis, as well as the two of the three leading main causes of death in North America: coronary heart disease and stroke. However, natural peanut butter (and peanuts themselves) do not contain partially hydrogenated oils.

1 tablespoon of Kraft peanut butter contains 128 Calories.
For example, a Medium build adult male (5'8" 70kg or 154lb 18-35 years old) needs about 2700 Calories each day for daily activities, therefore, if he ate more than 21 tablespoons of peanut butter each day, he would gain weight + HE WOULD GET SICK.

Not really. Actually peanuts aren't really ' nuts ' they're considered ' legumes ' ... beans. If you eat it with a deep green leafy vegetable or a tomatoe that's a better idea. I don't think it's very filling or satisfying. I've tried!

Maybe. It depends on the quantity. Simply put, you burn calories and you consume calories. Eat more than you burn and you gain weight. Burn more than you consume and you will lose weight. Simple. What it is that you eat exactly makes no difference, just the quantity vs. metabolism.
