I am about to start a nice little family of my own. I have a 3 year old daughter and are now pregnant with twin boys! I've never learned how to cook. I guess I'm a slow student. I microwave very well. I can't even make bacon and eggs! I'm pathetic, I know. The only time my daughter gets a home cooked meal is when we go over to Grandma's. I'm going to be a mother of 3, and I don't want to give McDonald's all my money forever.(Eventhough I love the dollar menu!) Please help!!! I can't be that much of a hopeless case. RIght???!!!

Okay something has been bothering me lately. Anyone know how many units these contain (am in the UK):

1 single whiskey and coke say 40%
1 pint of beer say at about 5%

Can't remember the exact %'s so feel free to correct! How do you work out what has more alcohol, my friend believes that the whiskey has more but I believe the beer is easily more perhaps close to double. Please help me settle it, if you say beer 2 whiskey 1.2 that would be good enough no need to get too technical :)
