I know it is refered to as "soda" here in Florida and up the east coast to Maryland. Some people have said its refered to as pop in PA, but in southern PA i know this not to be true. Washington State seems to say "pop" but not L.A. so how about California. I know Minnesota and Michigan are big on the word "pop"...So chime in and tell me if your state uses the word "pop"...I am trying to find the more common word. I believe it is "soda" or "coke"

Does anyone have a good no bake pumpkin pie recipe? Our friend makes one that has cool whip in it, and its very fluffy, and mmm mmm good, but I cannot get ahold of her. I have found a few recipes online but I am not sure if they are any good or not. If anyone has one I would sure appreciate it! Thanks!

I think the answer is NO!

It is just an excuse. All this rubbish about a genetic disposition = rubbish and I do not believe a word of it.

When I was a student, I used to drink every day. Now I drink twice a week. Am I an alcoholic? If I used to drink every day and I was alcoholic then why do I drink less now if I have a genetic disorder?

Is alcoholism a disease or an excuse?

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink
I feel shame Then I look into the glass and think
about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes
and dreams. If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out
of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say
to myself, "It is better that I drink this wine and let their
dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."
~ Jack Handy
