I live alone and have often found the recipes invlove more leftovers then I really care to pull out of the frig for 2 or 3 nights or freeze beyond reconition. It's been my attempt to to find simple, one or two serving recipes of all kinds on the internet but have had no real success. If anyone could help with suffestions, I certainly would appreciate it. Though I'm a pretty good cook, I prefer just the simple ones for my meals alone. It's a guy thing! LOL!

We are a family of 6. My 6 year old is allergic to dairy products. Any good meal ideas? I have to do a weeks worth of grocery shopping. I can substitute squeeze butter for real butter and rice milk for real milk in recipes like mashed potatoes.

Is anyone else fed up with drinking. You get jostled all night in crowded bar. You spend loads of money, wake up hungover, stinking of smoke and a sore throat. There must be more to life.

My husband is Indian, and I am English. I've learned a few good dishes, but I am vegetarian and I'm really short of decent substantial vegetarian recipes. I've got all the spices I might need. Anyone have an original recipe I can try? (IE not one with sauce from a jar or bizarre non-original ingredients like mustard in it!)

My mother has been making homemade flour tortillas for ages. I have been married for 15 years and am embarrased to say that I don't really have the consistency down yet. My tortillas are either too hard, or too thick. My mom is a little dissapointed that I didn't keep tradition when it comes to making tortillas. Now I have a teenager that wants to learn how to make them and I can't teach her. I've asked my mom for a recipe, but she has never measured before. I will appreciate all recipes.
