The sauteed onions are for borsch, which I have to have at a dinner in two days. This is my first time making it, and this is also my first time using any kind of oil (I'm not really big on cooking). I don't want to waste my money on olive oil because I know that I will never use it again, but I don't want to ruin the soup. My teacher has informed us that if we don't bring our dishes, we could ruin the whole event. Yes, I am just a little bit desperate.

My wife and I have long wanted to add more fish to our diet, since it's supposed to be so good for you, but we never know what to do with it or what a good piece looks like.

Anyone have tips on how to select, prepare and cook their favorite fish dish? Links & recipes welcome!

I read somewhere, I cannot remember where, that if you store coffee in your refrigerator it will last longer and bring out more flavor. Does anyone know if this is true? I just bought some and am not really sure where the best place is to store it. I am also talking about the coffee that has been ground up for a coffee maker.
