Hi! I use a little soy sauce and a little worcestershire sauce with lots of garlic (minced) and some fresh grated ginger. My favorite!

For a quick steak marinade, I mix up some montreal steak seasoning, olive oil, bit a vinegar and water.
You can replace the vinegar with a red wine and that's good as well.

Depends on what you're marinating. For grilling fish, Zesty Italian dressing is about as good as it gets. White wine is a good starter for home marinade experimentation, especially with fish and white meats. I've used some white wine, Dejon mustard, and then just a handful of this and that (I couldn't repeat the recipe if I tried) on Mahi Mahi, and it was very good.

Depends on what you are marinading. Try tequila, citus, salt, pepper and chile flakes for chicken, fish, or pork.
Try italian dressing packet, olive oil, lemon, & worcershire sauce for beef.

I just use what I have - a bit of oil, some vinegar or lemon juice, soy sauce, minced garlic or garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add any herbs you want - I sometimes add dill.
