Grocery stores carry them fresh at this time of year. If you have a food dehydrator, they can be dried in that.

Oven method: the berries should be washed first to remove dirt or fungicide. Dipping them in boiling water to crack the skins is optional, but if you don’t, they take "forever" to dry.

They should be kept at a temperature of 140°F (60°C) until dry, and you’ll know they’re dry when they are shriveled and light in weight with no sign of moisture, although they will likely be a bit sticky. Once dry, they can be kept at refrigerator temperatures for 18 to 24 months or in a freezer for 5 to 8 years. So make a big batch!

You can get cranberries in the Grocery Store fresh produce section. They come in bags. The safest and best way to dry them is with a food dehydrator. They cost anywhere from 20-35 dollars at stores like Target. Best of luck to you.

you can usually buy them fresh right at the grocery store in the produce section.
if you want to dry them, wash them first and then place a single layer on a baking sheet. bake at low temperature (about 250 F) for about two hours, or longer if you want them dryer. the trick is to do it slow!

I always buy them fresh in the produce dept of the grocery store. I've never dried them - I would guess that it would be in a slow oven on a cookie sheet.
