You can use any pan. My wife uses a square baking dish and cuts the jello in squares just like brownies. She also has some muffin tins made of silicone that she has used. She just pushes the muffin thing (it's not tin so what do you call it?) on the outside and the jello pops out.

jello can be set in any handy kitchen utensil of suitable size that you find handy,ofcourse it will lack the decorative effect of a fancy jello mould made just for this purpose.

I've used a bundt cake pan before. Anything you use I just give it a light spray of oil and then wipe it out. It seems to be just enough to keep it from sticking and nobody tastes it.

ice cubes work very well. When you get ready to empty them, just set them in hot water for a few seconds and they will pop right out. Or you can LIGHTLY oil them.
