i was wanting to make some home made wine i have the frozen consentrate welches fruit juice i also have the water sugar and yeast is that all i haft to have it calls for campden tablets ' petic enzyme and acid blend i know older people dont use those three things when they cut up the fruits and make it so is it a haft to thing i know how you do it the other way but this way just seems easier let me know as soon as posible or if you know a real easy recipe using the ingr' i have already

don't forget that they let the wine ferment for a while in (wooden ?) barrles. these items might help excellerate fermentation in the wine that you are making

Campden tablets suppress the bacteria until the yeast takes hold. Keeps it from souring before it ferments. It's more important with beer, old timers don't always use it for wine. The old recipes call for some really strong tea and lemon juice. Read the label on the grape juice and be sure it doesn't have preservatives in it. Look online, there have to be some old recipes floating around. You aren't making a premium vintage and probably aren't going to age it even the minimum recommended six months, so if it isn't going to be around for long you can make due with the old recipes.

100% juice ,yeast ,hopefully brewers yeast but any will do,a big enough bottle,mix the yeast in alittle warm water let stand for 10 min,add too juice in bottle put a balloon over the top and put in warm dark plc.let ferment couple days .oh poke a tiny hole in balloon too alow gas too escape, when ballon goes down its done .cam pellets are 4 clarity.but u can filter out old yeast in cheese cloth,bottle 4 weeks ,more is best,enjoy try grape first its easiest
