Or any poultry. I mostly eat fish, seafood, eggs, milk and cheese. Is it possible that I have been having a reaction to sorghum all this time?

No. Sorghum is a grain that is fed to most animals and is perfectly edible by humans. What most people eat though is Sorghum syrup that is made in a process similar to processing sugar cane or beets. I could find *no* reference to human allergy to Sorghum.

Honestly, I don't know. But I would think that sorghum (which is a kind of grass) would be so digested and processed by the animal that it would be unable to cause an allergic reaction. After all, the grass has to be chewed, swallowed, digested, and converted to energy, stored as fat, etc, etc, etc. All we eat of the animal is the flesh, so unless you are eating the undigested stomach contents, I would think you wouldn't be having a reaction to the sorghum.
I know quite a few people who get sick if they eat red meat; it's not all that uncommon. Chances are, your body is having difficulty processing or producing the enzymes required to digest it. You might want to talk to your doctor about that; maybe they can prescribe a supplement that will help.

Sorghum is a thick, dark syrup made from raw sugar cane. Alot of people eat it on pancakes, waffles, french toast etc. So, unless you're allergic to anything contained in syrup i doubt that your reaction is from the sorghum. Amish people use alot of it. Farmers used to feed it to cattle to fatten them up only. It is a type of molasses.............not "grass" type in sorghum molasses and see for yourself.
