We tried Cabernet with steak the other night, and HOLY MOLY did it taste strong. So we were asking around, and people advised us to start with easy-to-drink wines, namely Chardonnay and Merlot. I'm making spaghetti, will Merlot go with it?? If not, what is a good beginner's wine that goes with it??? I looked it up on the internet, and all I can find are suggestions of Dry Italian red wines, have no idea what to buy. Thanks!

well i'm making mahi-mahi(dolphin) and the last time i tried making this lemon butter sauce like the restaurants do and it didn't come out as good. the butter is usually the more dominant flavor.

Hey. This sound a little crazy but I've become very fond of ginger (the herb, not the colour!). I love it... I've had it before in the past but have recently appreciated it. How does it help you health wise. I've started to add it to my soups, curries etc and buy crystalized ginger stem but obviously scrape away the suger-coating with warm water.
