How come? I know they dont have much oestrogen in their bodies but why is it to do with oestrogen anyway?

Or is this just wrong?

VERY WRONG. There is nothing in fizzy drinks that has anything to do with hormones like estrogen. The fizz comes from carbon dioxide gas. That gas is the same one that humans (male and female) exhale all the time.

OK here's the real answer. Carbonated Cola beverages can deplete calcium in a woman's body leading to osteoporosis. Some think the link is the Phosphoric Acid in the beverage but this has not been conclusively proven.

Also, many young women drink so much cola instead of milk, so their calcium intake is not what it should be leading to osteoporosis problems later in life.

Osteoporosis and calcium depletion is just not a problem for men so excessive carbonated cola is not a problem except for the calories and sugar.

Most soda pops are not good for anyones health. It is the sweeteners and such that are harmful. Some people live in denial but all Nutritionists will tell you to eat more veggies, drink water and eliminate sodas and other High calorie low (or no) nutrition items.
