depends on the size of the turkey and the size of the crock pot,the turkey should fit in with plenty of room, around all sides so that it cooks evenly, the turkey should have a pop up timer,so you will know when it is done. You could always substitute a roasting chicken for the turkey, roasters are pretty big but not as big as a whole turkey,or you could always do just a Turkey breast they can still be stuffed and will fit in a crock pot.I would take it out and still brown it in the oven so the skin is crispy about 15 minutes and baste it with some of the juices

Do you mean an electric roaster, like Nesco or Westinghouse?
Crockpots are too small!
In a roaster, place the rack on the bottom, then lay 4-5 ribs of celery over that. Pour in 2 inches of water or chicken broth, cover, and set at 325.
Check frequently for doneness.
This will not brown the skin---if you want it browned, put in oven for the last half hour at 400.

Is there a crockpot in existence big enough to fit a whole turkey into????

If so... as long as you have a few inches of liquid (broth, water, whatever) in the bottom, it should work fine.
