At potlucks, they tell how good my food is and ask for a recipe, but as soon as I say an organic brand or ingredient, they don't want to talk about it. I don't get it.

Their close minded most likely.
Organic and natural food is a million times better for you then the genetically enhanced additive ridden crap people buy at the grocery store, your the one who will be healthier, so its their loss. Don't sweat it.

Because they have been eating Doritos and bright orange crackers and jello brand pudding etc. etc. and have come to think of those things as "food". I fed my Dad millet one time - he asked what it was - "millet" - then he wanted to know what it was before it was millet. It was incomprehensible that it wasn't processed. I think people feel safer just working with the ingrediants they are familar with. It wouldn't occure that getting sick 3-4 times a year has anything to do with their food so why bother to change.

Some people don't understand food, some do not understand music and some don't get good fabrics.
Not everyone has the same priorities. If you want to flock with birds of your feather, start fraternizing at Trader Joes.
