The wine you bought is kosher, which means it has been specially blessed by orthodox Jews, so that people on kosher diets can consume it. I'm not Jewish myself, so I don't know all the rules that go into kosher diets, but I know that all kosher products have to be prepared in a special way and blessed by a rabbi. also, people who are kosher don't ever eat pork, and they don't eat meat with dairy products, so cheeseburgers and pepperoni pizzas are out. Some very orthdox Jews who are on kosher diets even have two separate sets of cookware and plates, one for meat dishes and one for dairy, so they never contaminate each other.
