beers like smirnoff ice or baccardi don't? aren't they basically the same?

Nope. They are completely different. Beer (Bud, Bud Light and so on) contains hops, barley, and yeast. Most beers are an acquired taste.

Now on the other hand, malt beverages like Smirnoff and Bacardi do not contain the yeast and stuff like that. They are mostly carbonation, sugar, and alcohol. They are made sweet to attract people who can't stand the taste of beer.

So to answer your question....beer and malt beverages are not the same. Instead of drinking those, remember....liquor is quicker!

Good Luck!

smirnoff ica and those bacardi drinks aren't beer. beer is made with rice, hops, water and yeast usually, some beers are made with other grains but rice is the most common. you may have an allergy to either hops or the yeast.

Smirnoff and Bacardi don't have beer in them. You might be allergic to gluten. Check with your doctor. And try a gluten-free beer -- if you aren't sick, then you know the answer!
