Why must a restaurant, by contract, use one or the other but not both?

Because it is in the contract not to use competitor.Man don't drink coke because they are building a bottling plant in afghanistan which seems to me that maybe they suport terrorism and or bin laden.Also over 90 percent of all heroin comes from that country,this is a fact .

Yeah they have some sort of deal.
For instance you only get pepsi at KFC joints because they own that company.

I feel sorry for the ones who chose or were forced to sell pepsi.
Pepsi sucks. I bet they get less sales LOL

They both taste different under different temperature. At lower temperature I prefer Coke, but if both are at room temperature I'll choose Pepsi.

There are places that do, but you usually can get a better deal if you from one. You buy larger quantities, when buying from one supplier and there fore can get bulk rates. If play one company againt the other, they are more likely to lower their price.

That would be like buying bread from two different companies. You only need one supplier.

I wish they would serve both! It's stupid when soda companies say they will not serve their pop if they serve another. I prefer COKE!
