1oz is 30g

A metric tablespoon is equivalent to 3 teaspoons, whereas an imperial (old measure) tablespoon is 4 teaspoons.

2 metric tablespoons of flour =15 gms = 1/2oz
1 cup flour = 125gms = 4oz

Flour does not weigh the same as equivalent volumes of sugar or water or butter; it is much lighter, so it has more volume to make the equivalent weight.

So use 4 metric tablespoons or 3 imperial tablespoons or 12 teaspoons to get 1oz or just use 1/4 cup.

That is aproximate but it all depends on the flour's density. Two exact tablespoons will not necessarily be equal in weight. If a recipe calls for a tablespoon use a tablespoon if it calls for it in ounces... you're best to use a scale (if accuracy is important).

25 Grams Of Flour To Cups

Ok. When turning weight into volume every food is different. It's not just 8oz equals 1 cup like stated above. Flour is 4 oz per cup so ur recipe calls for 2 cups. Butter weighs 8 oz per cup do ur recipe is 1/4 cup. And cheddar cheese is 1 oz =.2 cups so that is also 1/4 cup.

A heaped tablespoonful = 1oz flour, 1oz sugar, .5oz cornflour or 1.25oz butter.

Normally it would be 1/2 fluid ounce or 14.8 ml. But if you convert to solids, it would be roughly 0.75 oz and about 15 gms.

I am not talking heaped.
