Delicious and very easy.

Right, I'm now off shopping.

Cook the tuna as if you would cook a rare steak. Literally two minutes each side. When cut it should be pink in the middle. Tuna cooked too long becomes dry and hence the sauce. Accompany the tuna with avocado, some jalapenos finely sliced and a good drizzle of seet soy sauce. Hmmmmm

This is the best, trust me

4 tablespoons dark soy sauce

4 tablespoons of good honey

a small piece of fresh ginger, grated

small handful of fresh coriander

Mix together in a bowl and marinate fresh tuna for 2 hours

Flash fry tuna for two minutes a side

Drizzle remaining liquid over tuna and serve

Put £20 in an envelope and post it to me!!!!

Some of the recipes that's already been posted sound delicious, but I've always liked the flavour of the tuna itself [love it raw as sashimi or in sushi as well! :) I usually fry it in medium-high heated pan with lots of butter, some fresh garlic and lemon juice. You can add some parsley or finely chopped jalapeno chillies. Sauces, well, I'd either go for a salsa type tomato based sauce, or a tartare. Personally I don't put sauce on my own, but I know a lot of people like it saucy. Fresh garden salad, steamed mixed veggies, sweet potato. They all go very well with any kind of fish. Enjoy! I'm drooling onto my keyboard now...

Make a remoulade. It is a very simple mayonnaise based sauce. You have probably had it before and never even known it. I do prepared mustard with mayo, tarragon and lemon juice. Salt and pepper if needed. Traditionally a remoulade is made with homemade mayonnaise making the sauce a little thinner than when using store bought. It is up to you to decide what you like.
