I love those colored cookies that they have in italian bakeries. They are usually pink or green or sometimes white. They are a light cookie. I know they sell them at stop and shop too. Some of them look they they were cookie pressed and some around round with sprinkles on the side. Does anyone have a recipe for them? I'm dying to make them for thanksgiving.

I am leary of these hybrid fruits. It fooled us in the grocery store. Kind of tastes like rancid fruit. Has an acidy taste. We thought it was a cantelope.

The bottom element in my oven shorted out and I can't get it fixed till the end of the month. Do you think I could make the dressing up, put in corningware dish, microwave for a little and then put it under the broiler to brown it? Would it turn the dressing into a hard brick?

I read that you dont need to add 'curry powder' to a curry so long as you have a good base sauce. The curry powedr is simply a mix of coriander, etc, etc.

I bought a bottled curry sauce and am wondering if this would be ok or if i should spice it up?

Every time I go there - the french fries are way too salty. I don't know why they don't let people put their own salt on their fries. Just like any other hambur. joint. Their supposed to just put a pinch of salt on, but they always put too much. Maybe some people like that much salt - but not everybody.
