Is anybody going to have a drink to day. . . and a nice Sunday roast to top it off? Mmmmmm sounds gud doesn't it!

I am about to put the lamb in the oven and the goose fat roasted spuds. I have a nice bottle of Fleurie decanting and waiting for me. I hope you enjoy the lunch.

You're too late. I already have had a drink but I'm passing on the Sunday roast. Ican't be bothered since I never Know when my family are going to come home and cold roast isn't the same is it??

I over done it on friday night and im still rough. Im going for a nice sunday roast with the family though

Yes, I will drink from the "cup of life" today........
We are all "biological living beings" and depend on our enviroment for life...... after which we become decomposed organic materials.
The "you" that enjoys Sunday Roast "is you" because of the electro-chemical reactions taking place in your brain.
"You" are electro-chemical processes going on in that body and brain right now as you read this.
Without the body and brain-- those highly complex processes cease.
Religion says "the you, will be a different you". "operating in a very different, exciting way forever"
As of yet science has not discovered life after death. Religion gives us some peace of mind and guidance for our lives and hope for death.
Yes I drink... Especially on Sunday. To hope and love that lasts through eternity forever.
Maybe only a father who has lost his young son can understand this.
I drink at his table in honor of this promise.

The wife and I will probably pop open the bottle of Blueberry Wine we got last month. A little sweet to drink with a meal, but something nice to curl up in front of the TV with after dinner.

Hi Red Devil, I have a terrible cold, and the thought of some comfort food sounds good to me. What I am going to do is make homemade fruit scones, after the homemade lentil soup, so that will make me feel better, and of course a large drink or hot toddy (I am Scottish) to round it off. So you have a nice drink too, I will raise my glass to you. Cheers!!!

I have just stopped for a sandwich and a brandy and coke!
Have been decorating (again) since 8am!
