have both, and send plates home with your guests so you don't have too many leftovers. also consider sending plates to elderly people in your neighborhood who might not be spending thanksgiving with anyone this year, or busy neighbors who don't have the time to cook. I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated, and you will feel good about sharing with others!

One daughter wanted the traditional turkey. The other wanted a Honey-Baked ham, so we are having both. And they'll both be happy with their leftovers.
And I send every guest home with leftovers, so everyone is happy, and I'm not left with so much. I hate to waste food.

In this situation, i would suggest that if one person from the other half should prepare the turkey, while you prepare the ham. otherwise it might be one of those dinners that some people love (your half) and that some people dislike and are forced to eat... recipe for bad thanksgiving.

Turkey, you can have ham any day and the smells about the house are suppose to be turkey smells, it is not Thanksgiving w/o turkey, but you decide.

Why? Why can't you have too many leftovers?
That's half the fun, in my opinion! ...Share the leftovers.
Anyways, it is terribly late to not know which you're having yet!
I vote ham though. ;)
