I know I was supposed to defrost since yesterday. I just took it out. What would be a safe suggestion to make sure it is defrosted and ready to bake by 8am? Thank you

Defrost in the sink with water as the site tells you. When you are ready to go to bed, place it in the rerigerator; it will be fine by morning, but do not leave it out overnight.

Keep it in the wrap and soak it in a sink of water. You dont want the water to getr to hot or it will begin to "cook" the outside. Just leave it there for a few hours. If you do this make sure the water is not too cold either or it wont defrost fast enough. Good luck. Happy Thanksgiving!

Don't just put it in the fridge, it'll still be frozen stiff tomorrow morning. Don't leave it sitting on the counter, either. Instead, put it in the sink (still in its wrapper) and cover it with cold water. Change the water every half hour. I believe the guideline is 30 minutes per pound, so if it's a large turkey someone's gonna have to sit up with it.
