What do you think of it?
I like it, its entertaining.
But I think the brides are very trashy and have no class.
Like it seems to me like they don't even love their fiances, that they just like being bitchy and trashy.

Well, i just wanted to say a lot of people that I know do this, so its not far-fetched, but to give the bridal party jewelry to wear on the wedding as a gift. But where is a good place that is cheap like 10-25 bucks, but pretty things they would want to wear??

A friend of mine that I'm visiting out of state this weekend invited me to her friend's Jack & Jill party and said she'd get me a ticket- what's that about? What can I expect at this type of party?

I need some cheap neat ideas for a country western wedding that is going to be in the later part of september. Also what would be a good flower for a single flower bouquet for the bride?

well, maybe not all of them, but i already have my bridesmaids and he said that i need to add his sister as well. i like her an all, but i don't want her in the wedding. im already putter her daughter in as a 2nd flower girl. he keeps saying, that its his wedding too...but its my choice who i ask to be a bridesmaid...right?

i don't want to ask her cause i don't want her in it...her child is in the wedding. i didn't really want her in it either because she is 4 and out of control. im afraid she will yell or scream at people as she walks down the aisl ...or start to cry...

i told him that she will help me with what i need help on...but he wants his WHOLE family to have a part in some way...i just want to get married, i don't want all this stress...they can help if they wish..its just my fiance...he thinks he has the final word in this wedding...its mine too and if i don't want her in it, that should be my choice, right?

am i in the wrong here??

For your own wedding. What do you think? Is it wrong or weird or whatever? Do most people go out and buy their own or what?

How do you use a church with pews on the left pews in the center and pews on the right with two aisles on either side of the center aisle?

I'm naturally pale and have never been a fan of tanning (by sun or bed). I commute about an hour to and from work each day... and now that it's sunny I've developed a bit of a tan on my left shoulder and upper arm.

I'm afriad when I wear my strapless gown in about 2 months it will look a little silly, especially from the back with my extremely pale white upper back contrasting with my shoulder. I've never really played with self-tanning lotions or tried the spray-on tan thing.

Have any of you ladies tried self-tanners or spray-ons and were happy with the results? I don't want to look orange ;-)

My fiance suggested I just start wearing sunscreen on my left shoulder, but it isn't going to take away the color I already have... any suggestions or personal experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

We am looking for some place nice in Texas or one of the bordering states to go on our honeymoon, besides Mexico..

Do you know of any good locations that would be nice for a honeymoon?

We want to be around water.. It doesnt matter if it is beach or lake.. We jsut want some place that is really nice and relaxing where we can share our time together, and have fun.

We dont want to travel to far away since we will have kids staying at home with the grandparents. So we want to be able to return incase of an emergency fairly quickly..

I was just curious if other people know about this phrase so they don´t stress out about the little things, and skip some things that are not necessary for their wedding.

I've been an ordained minister since I was 18. It's not something that I'm uber serious about but I have performed a couple of weddings with it. Any suggestions on how to do more non-secular weddings and quick-weddings (Vegas style) with it? I'd like to make a little extra money while I'm in college. Any advice would be appreciated. **** No fundy chastising though... I care not.

Been to a reception or had a reception where no one showed up, I've been having this dream that this would happen at my wedding reception next year. So if it did what did you/they do?

My dad passed away a few yrs ago, so I asked my uncle (dad's bro) to give me away.

Although I have two brothers, they are both younger than me ~ plus I am in my 30's & it seems weird to have a *younger* bro. "give" me away ~ considering my age, independence, etc. It's not like I am just leaving home to be w/my fiance or anything ~we have been together for a number of years now.
Besides, I would rather have my bros as groomsmen so they can both be more involved w/me & the rest of the wedding party.

I considered asking my mom to walk me down the aisle ~ but we are both super clumsy & I am afraid we will both trip =( OR she will be emotional which will make me cry ~ my uncle is tall & sturdy & NOT emotional ... a good person to keep me walking straight ;)

Anyway, people assume that one of my brothers is going to be walking me down the aisle & are suprised when I say it will be my uncle. I assume the "proper" choice is to ask a bro, but has anyone seen it done differently?

This coincides with my early question about a No Gift party for our 10th Anniversary.
I know if people ignore the request and wind up bringing a gift or card that I am to send thank yous, but what about the people who follow directions and dont bring anything? Are you supposed to write a thank you to everyone for coming to celebrate with you? Remember this isnt a wedding, its an anniversary party, I know with weddings you are supposed to thank everyone in a hand written note, but are you supposed to with regular parties as well?

For example, if you meet someone far away, do you develop feelings for them based on the way they look or act? What causes feelings to go deeper? Is it when you confess something? Or when someone gives you your space, or when someone thinks you are the hottest thing in the world? What turns you on in that situation? If you decide to meet the person, what helps in the meantime determine if you might develop feelings, is it impossible to tell before meeting?

She is a friend of mine that used to work with me, not one of my bridesmaids. I am wondering if I should offer to bring food or if I should bring her some flowers for the table or something...or is that something you don't do for your own shower?

Okay, so the joke is that I am pregnant and I am getting married. I will only be about four months along (this is in two weeks and I am not even showing). We were getting married before, we didn't even move up the wedding for those of you who might lecture me. Anyway, my boyfriend does stand up comedy as a hobby, and I like to joke too. Since everyone already knows I am pregnant we were going to have my father take an unloaded shotgun and "march" my fiance down the aisle. My brother is in the army, so we were going to have Dad give it to him and keep it trained on my fiance through the whole wedding and at the annoucement of Mr and Mrs, he was goign to shoot off a blank (outdoor ceremony). And I was going to stuff a pillow under my dress (it's an empire cut) and walk down the aisle with a huge bump (I would take it off for the ceremony). Everyone else thinks this is hilarous, but not my mother. I want to tell ehr to get a sense of humour. What do you guys think?

I am getting married in a little more than two weeks and I just started tanning yesterday. I know tanning is bad for you, that is why I waited so long but now I am not sure if I will get the results that I am looking for. (no tan lines) Should I go everyday? And how much should I do the booth so that my underarms get done? Thanks so much.
