Clothes. Dressy. Other than that, there's too many traditions to keep track of. Just try not to outdo the groom or bride.

Day time weddings are usually less formal than evening weddings.
Since it is summer, I would suggest a nice sun dress. There are so many nice dresses out right now.
You will see a lot of different styles of dress there, but believe me you will feel better if you dress up a little!

As a photographer I see all kinds of clothes for weddings....... I would suggest something light that you can move in so you can dance. Definitely go for practical. They know that it is hot in the summertime and they don't really expect people to go all out. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes but not tennis shoes.

Definitely have layers. In case it gets chilly or vice versa, if the weather is not determined.
For men, a sport coat and slacks (or even khakis) are light and airy.
For women, something cheerful and her dress won't blow up in a breeze... with a wrap or 'pagemina' (not sure how to spell that.) Definitely something she would never to wear to a night club. Maybe even business casual... just don't get too stuffy looking.
