Been to a reception or had a reception where no one showed up, I've been having this dream that this would happen at my wedding reception next year. So if it did what did you/they do?

I've never heard of that happening - what would you do? Make sure the caterer packed all the food 'to go' and head out to your honeymoon a day early. Sounds like you're just over-anxious - people will be there - free food are you kidding me?! They'll be all over that! :-) Seriously - relax, and make sure you HAVE FUN - the day is over before you know it!

I realized from my being at weddings that there are actually MORE people at the wedding reception than at the wedding ceremony.
Most people love to eat and some don't like to be bored at the ceremonies, I guess. But I always attend both-ceremony and reception.

It happend to my brother at his birthday once because he was a jerk to all his friends about his presenets. He got pissed, we went home. Not a big thing really.
Never happened at a wedding though. There are always a few who get sick and don't show or didn't RSVP but come anyway. You are just having typical nervous dreams. Relax honey! It will all be fine and no matter what you have that awesome guy waiting at the end of the aisle...isn't that what it's all about?

You will definitely have people there. Just make sure that everyone knows well in advanced with plenty of time to schedule it. People know that there is free food at weddings. And let me tell you, free food will bring anyone it. It just can't be passed up.
And if anything, you might have Wedding Crashers... ^_~

If there is one thing I've learned, its that for weddings people will move mountains to be there, your guests will attend and it will be a great party!

It won't happen!!!! If it did, u'd have enough food and cake to last u the year easily...So no grocery shopping

I had thoughts about that when i wuz younger trust me its just negative thoughts goin through your mind! dont believe them have sum positive input your friends&& family will def. be there they love you & want to see this important day dont pay attention to those dream be HAPPY! =]]

take enough to feed them, not fill them. finger foods.
