We are having disposable cameras at each guest's table. Our guests will be asked by the DJ to take a photo of each person at the table. After that they may take what ever photos they choose. My questions are,
Where is the best place to put the cameras when they are finished taking the photos? Also what type of container or decoration should be used to put them in. There will be 24 cameras.

My boyfriend is catholic and I was brought up in a more or less atheist family, my grandparents used to be protestant though. We want to get married in a church ceremony. Do I have to be christian for us to have a church wedding? If so, do I have to be catholic like him?

So my buddy at work is getting married in a week, and I am usually his "go-to" person for weird customs and etiquette, but this one has me stumped;

Apparently, his bride-to-be made mention of a gift exchange between the bride and groom, and that she has already selected her gift to him.

He, on the other hand, is CLUELESS about this custom, and has NO idea what would be considered an appropriate gift.

Needless to say, we are both convinced this is another "Hallmosrk Conspiracy".

This is where I turn to the Answers community and help bail him out.

What would be, according to this custom, an appropriate gift for the groom-to-be, to give his future blushing bride.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

His family is in Los Angeles. My family is east coast (Virginia, Maryland, New York.) I grew up in Richmond, Va. In Richmond, my family has a lot of connections with restuarnts and vendors and such. My question, Do i have my wedding in Richmond where i can probably get a lot of great deals on vendors near my family, OR do i have it in Dc, where it would be more cost effective for his family to fly into? I live directly (almost to the mile) smack dab in the middle of the two. There is NO question we're having it in VA or Dc, because my family is much larger than his. How accomidating to i want to be? Date isnt set til '09.

I'm not a "traditional" bride by any means and I do not want to walk down the aisle to the wedding march like millions of other females have. I need some ideas for other songs that are popular for brides these days because I have no idea where to even start looking. I was thinking of maybe a symphony or a concerto but I need some help as to what websites to go to, names of songs to download, etc. And really I'm flexible on the classical stuff too so all ideas are welcome. Thanks a lot and I can't wait to listen to your suggestions!

At my reception I'm giving my parents and my older brother a poem in a pretty frame. I'm reading them during the toasts. I found wonderful poems for my brother and dad but I'm having a hard time finding one for my mom. I want it to be really special she's done so much for me. I found a nice one that added in the fact that she's also walking me down the isle but it's read as before the wedding starts. Does anyone have any ideas where I could find a poem for my mom?

Last night myself and my friend had an arguement. The arguement was on, "Whether is it right for a teacher or lecturer to marry his/her own student". I argued that it is right and my friend says it is against the moral. I said, if that person is teacher or lecturer it is his/her profession and has nothing to do with his/her life or love.

I want to know whether it is correct or not?

I had my wedding at Garden Of Love chapel and it was wonderful I don't understand how people think that on 7-7-7 that was the busiest day of the year that the lines at the courthouse was 5 hours long think that the chapels wouldn't be busy. You should have picked a day for just the two of you like I did 7-17-07 I thought of 7-7-7 but the Garden Of Love said that it was crazy out there the whole week they went above and beyond to make my day great. i will have a renewal there and will stick up for them as they did an excellent job on my wedding and would say they are the only chapel in las vegas that give you anything extra that does not charge you for it. Thank you Cindy I Love The Garden Of Love
