My Niece is getting Married outdoors in next week, we live in hot California so a suit is not an option- plus she is not that conservative. What do you suggest I put on my boys ages 2 and 7?? I was thinking Khaki shorts or Blue shorts with polos, not so they match (I hate that). WHat do you think????

Khaki shorts and a polo would look like they were just going to the mall- like teens wear it
but i would try Khakis for sure

I think the khaki shorts will be just fine, but I would suggest short sleeve button down shirts with a collar instead of a polo. That way it's a little dressy and a little casual and also cool and comfy.

Semiformal means a suit or jacket for men. Period. None of this "khakis and shirt/tie" and NO jeans. For women, it's the equivalent of little black dress. Your boys are old enough to dress appropriately for a wedding, so teach them what semiformal means. Black Tie Optional means they can wear a tux or dark suit, not semiformal.

I think the khaki shorts (or pants if it is more of a formal affair) sound fine. I doubt that anyone will really pay too much attention to what the children are wearing, so don't worry too much!

My 2 year old son wore a white linen outfit to our wedding(July 7th), he was so cute, but you can find them in any color and size for your boys.

I think that you have the right idea. I think you should put the little one in suspenders. OOO...that would be soooo cute! :)
