I met my true love when I was 6 and we were best friends until we started dating when we were 16. And now we are getting married in May. And he just told me that he has loved me since we were 10, but was afraid to tell me.

Luna 2 I was 47 years old when I found the person I know I will be spending the rest of my life with as a partner. I married when I was far to young at 19 and out of this marriage had a beautiful son who has grown into a 32 year old man with a wife and 2 daughters of his own (Papa's girls). This marriage lasted only a little over two years but my ex and I remain very close friends to this day. Luckily after some bad luck in the relationship department I met and married the most wonderful and beautiful woman in the world. We walked down the aisle two months ago yesterday and now have a blended family of 6 kids and 2 grandkids. Life and love can be grand even at our ages.

You asked 2 different things...how old when we met our spouse, and how old when we met our "true love"
All love is "true" else it isn't really love...there is no 'one true love' for people, there are many with equally good potential.
I met my first husband when I was 18 and he was 23...we met in a nightclub and married a year later. That lasted 7 yrs before we separated, and 9.5 by the time we divorced.
I was about 29 I think when I met my 2nd husband, and he was a couple of yrs younger than me. We met in college, he sat behind me in a class we were taking. We dated about 2 yrs, married, split up after 17 months, and divorced at 23 months.
I've not married again and it's been over 10 yrs now. Loves come and go, and Life is Good. âº

We were both 21 when we met...met again at 25 and started dating.....and will be 26 for our wedding.
