How do you use a church with pews on the left pews in the center and pews on the right with two aisles on either side of the center aisle?

usually guests are escorted to the outside aisles, so they don't dirty the center aisle and your dress doesn't get black underneath. the only people who use the center aisle are the bridal party and parents walking down at the processional. for the recessional, it doesn't matter where guests walk, since you and your fiance are the first ones down. congrats!

I'm a little confused.....are their 2 aisles or 3?

if their actually is a center aisle...just use that for everything, maybe as seats start filling up have ushers use the outside aisles to get people to the other pews.

If their are 2 aisles (which most churches in my area have) what I see done most of the time is everyone uses one aisle to come in on (ussually the one on the left) and they exit on the other (ussually the right) aisle. It kinda makes it like you are leaving on a different "path" now that you are married...

hope it helps!

At my church there are pews on the left side then a aisle then large (longer) pews in the middle and then another aisle on the right and pews on the right.
We usually use both sides for the bridal party (men come down one aisle and women come down the other) or (mix it up). And we usually use the left side for the bride. But it would be good to consult with the pastor of the church to see if they have any specific guidelines.
Congrats and God Bless!

Do you mean there is no center aisle? I would center the wedding in front of the middle section of the pews.

Have walk down both sides with the bridal party, have them meet in the center. When it's your turn just pick a side.

Depending on the church you could also just set up the alter to once side and use one aisle and build a little partition to mark off the other side so it is set up more traditionaly with one aisle.

If there is a center aisle then you just rope that one off with ribbon or something and guests use the two outside aisles to get to their seats.

I have seen this 2 different ways. In one wedding they picked an aisle and used one of the two for the processional.

Another wedding, the groom processed down one aisle and the bride processed down the other and they met in the front and it was really neat.

You could also have the bridesmaids walk down one aisle and then the bride walks down the other, making it her own special aisle.

If your church has a wedding coordinator then they will be able to assist you with all those little details. If not then definitly the pastor will know.

Good luck, it will be beautiful whatever way you choose.

You simply choose one side, and decorate the pews on that aisle.

use the ones in the center. Have people seated around the center aisles.

A friend of mine had a church with seating like this and she just chose one of the aisles for everyone to go down. In her case one of them was closer to a side hall and the other was by the main door. She chose the one closer to the hall because they were getting ready in a room off the hall. So just chose one for whatever reason and everyone uses it.

Ask the pastor of the church which aisle to use.

How about the attendants come up one aisle and the bride comes up the other.
