I am honored to be in a wedding. Between the flight, hotel, tux etc... I am putting out about $2500. Do I still get a present or is my standing up for him enough?

This is the exact model that i going to take me to the registry office next year to get married.

I personally think it is subtly classy.

What do you think?

I am planning my wedding but I don't have a wedding ring yet. It's already picked out, we just haven't brought it home yet. I never made an official, "I am engaged" announcement. My mom just suggested I start planning the wedding and I went along with it. Does being engaged mean having an engagement ring specifically? I am engaged or just getting married?

u see im a virgin and shes experienced. She only has had 1 partner as she got into an arranged marriage. I have resisted and not slept with anyone. She has kissed me on my neck, stroked my hair and slighly touched my breasts. She called me her sweetheart after she kissed me on the neck. Do you think she would want me if she knew i was a virgin?

we are both muslims and virginity usually is a big thing, but shes married so doesnt matter.

thank u

Do I gift her a gift, and buy the 'couple' a gift too? Just the couple?

Our (bride's) family is paying for most of the wedding and reception, and bought her dress, but what else should we do?

What is a good favor to give to your wedding guests?? I was thinking maybe Christmas ornaments but I thin someone else did that so I don't want to copy? This is not for me, for a friend I am helping?? Also what would you give the out of towners especially when they first check in to the hotel??

OK- My husband and I are 22 and just got married in February. We grew up down the block from each other and I am very close with his parents, I love them like they were my own (my husband is a Marine and for the time we were dating and unmarried- he was all over the country but I still did every family function with his family, including sleeping over the house occasionally) Unfortunately we are now stationed in HAWAII -they are in NJ. We can not fly them out here, we can not go home for the anniversary or throw them a party (which i will be doing for 30 so we'll be home). My 17yr old BIL is still at home with them, so i can collect some photos but not much - he would have to ask for them and it would be obvious. So please, i need material ideas for gifts for them. They are pretty cookie cutter 100% IRISH, white picket fence, american flag proudly displayed outside the house, 50yrs old suburban people. (just got them a USMC throw for christmas.. so no blanket) THANK YOU!

I know it traditionally gets sent to whoever is hosting/paying for the wedding, but my fiance and I are paying for the majority of it ourselves, but my parents are also helping out some financially. I would like them to come to us to be able to keep track better, but I think it would be safer to go to my parents b/c they live in a house (and know their mailman), whereas we live in an apartment, and I wouldn't want them accidentally going to the wrong apartment number. Also, if they go to my parents, do the inner envelopes get addressed to what my parents would call that specific guest (ex: joe and jan vs. uncle joe and aunt jan??) Help please.

For the women: Did your fiance go to a strip club for his bachelor party? If yes, how did you feel about it?

For the men: Did you go to a strip club for your bachelor party or for a friends bachelor party? If yes what goes on there?

What's the rationale behind using any song to walk up the aisle to, other than the traditional wedding march?

Is it just to make it more unique? Or because the traditional wedding march has some unfortunate connotation that I don't get?

Just curious what's behind this...Your opinions are appreciated!

We had a bad breakup and only speak when we're around mutual friends. She's asked me to come to her wedding, then had her best friend ask me, then sent me a voicemail asking me to come. Every time I tell her no. Why does she insist?

I don't approve of her wedding, so I just want to leave it alone, but she keeps asking me. What's her deal?

gave us a check, wrote the wrong last name for us and didn't sign the check. She's a sorority sister of mine so she's no stranger, however, I do feel uncomfortable about telling her her mistake. My mother said she can handle it. I just think me telling her is kind of bad taste. What is the proper protocol for something like this?

For my wedding I want to have a professional do my make-up, but do they use their own colors, or do the use your make-up? For my graduation pictures I had my make-up done at glamor shots and I didn't like it cuz it just wasn't me. I'm afraid it will be the same way for my wedding day. What did you do or plan on doing?
